Planning Board to Review Reports and Sketch Plan
We need you at the next Planning Board meeting to listen and learn as the developers share their latest plans to expand Eastwoods Drive and reconfigure three plots of land into two.
The Woodstock Planning Board received the traffic study and environmental assessment from the consultants it hired, so a review of those reports as well as this "sketch plan" review is set for next Thursday, July 3. The published agenda shows the meeting begins at 6 p.m., and Zena Development is expected to begin presenting about 6:30.
The agenda item reads as follows: "Sketch Plan Review #2 Review of Initial Traffic and Hudsonia Consultant Reports of Subdivision, Site Plan Review and Wetlands & Watercourse Permit Applications to reconfigure lot lines decreasing from three to two parcels and modifications to existing site by expanding road in the R5 Zoning District located at Eastwoods Drive in Woodstock."
A public hearing has not been scheduled yet for this proposal, so we will not be providing public comments. We can pack the room, however, to hear what the developers are proposing and learn what the independent consultants said about the project's impact on traffic, road safety, wetlands, wildlife and more.
We don't expect to hear an update on the DEC's decision regarding lead agency status for the State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) process, but there may be some discussion. The topic is not on the agenda.
Can you join us for the Planning Board meeting next Thursday? We hope to see you!
