Update from Stop Zena Development: Join Us for a Virtual Town Hall

Writer's picture: Stop Zena DevelopmentStop Zena Development

The Stop Zena Development coalition will be hosting a free virtual town hall Feb. 4 from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. to update interested citizens about opposition to destroying forest, wetlands and wildlife corridors. The developers who were originally known as Woodstock National changed the company's name to Zena Development, but they are still intent on expanding Eastwoods Drive in Woodstock in order to build a large subdivision in the Town of Ulster.

WLC is a proud partner in the coalition, and both staff members and Board members will be participating in the town hall. Panelists will update you on the status of the development proposals in both Woodstock and Ulster, share the revised plans that now include pickleball courts right beside a nature preserve, and provide you with discrete action steps you can take to save Woodstock's Critical Environmental Area and undeveloped forest that spans hundreds of acres.
